Today, I am thankful for David, my firstborn son. You are my pride and joy! You keep me humble and to never let a day go by without worshipping God.
I couldn’t wait to be pregnant again and your pregnancy was so easy. Mama was looking good and rocking that bump!
You are my proof that God is faithful to keep His Word.
I sometimes complain about how busy you guys keep me, and how crazy you all drive me, but I wouldn’t change anything for the world!
David, we prayed for a boy and you showed up. At 8 months on a regular doctor’s visit, they found out that the amniotic fluid around you was low and at a dangerous level.
I was ordered to go straight to the hospital for an overnight stay so that I could be monitored. The next morning it was decided that you had to be brought out by emergency c-section.
The doctors were concerned that your lungs might not be strong enough and you would have to stay in the NICU. Little dude came out screaming and the doctors immediately changed their mind. ‘’Ain’t nothing wrong with his lungs!’’ they said.
My sweet darling David, you are my first son; you brighten up my day with your smile. I am humbled daily by your spirit and how tender you are in loving God at just 2 yrs old.
You are a born worshiper and you are constantly singing and dancing. Who knew how powerful your name was going to influence your life.
Heavenly Father we are thankful for David. David, you will serve the Lord your God all the days of your life, Amen.
