A Time To Reflect And To Dream.

I love this time of the year, right after Thanksgiving. It’s a time to reflect on the year gone by.  It’s a time for us to plan, prepare, and have a strategy for next year.

I have been doing just that and I feel recharged and energized to get started. I am excited for you and me!

I don’t make resolutions, I set goals. Setting goals helps me to have a target  to work towards. It helps guide and point me in the right direction.

I have been busy compiling my goals and I have been daydreaming with excitement on how to execute my plan. Have you visited the dream theater lately? Outside the confines of your soul you can dream without limits!

I can see the end result in my spirit and its real, filled with possibilities, not just a pipe dream. Now I know what it looks like; I am going after it!

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Cor 4:18)

What about you?

  3. Your statement will help anyone who follows suit, “I don’t make resolutions. I set goals.” I have thought about it since the day you published it. My ambition going forward is very simple: Christ. Thanks for being a blessing in 2011. Surely, you and your family will have the best year of your lives so far, in 2012.

  4. Hi Buky – Happy New Year in Christ.
    Just checking on you!  :)
During the Christmas season, I was relecting on all the ladies in my church who had been blessed with new babies,
throughout 2011.  One of the babies called Joshua brought you and your little ones to mind.

I pray that you had a joyous time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
I can see by your post that like me, you are eager and ready to start executing your 2012 goals.
No resolutions for me – just goals,  which I have yet to document.
I am determined that they be as SMART as God would like them to be, as I follow His directive – ‘Write the vision and make it PLAIN’.

May 2012 be your year of fulfillment in every area of your life and may you draw from the well of the Lord in your time of need!

    God Bless you more

    • Carole, thank you for your prayers. Only if you knew how much i needed it. I feel the power of your prayers and I am elated that God put us on your mind.

I pray that 2012 will be a year of deeper walk with Almighty God. He will be your constant companion and may He reveal more ofHimself in a way He has never before to you.

I appreciate you and so blessed that I can count on your prayers.
