It’s that time of the year again that we celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
This season represents hope, forgiveness, love, and peace. The birth of Christ ushered in the Father’s plan of redemption from all sins.
I pray that you will take advantage of this season and extend good cheer to your friends, families and loved ones.
Choosing to forgive doesn’t make you weak. Rather it shows that you are strong and mature. Forgiveness is not for the other party; it’s for you. Forgiveness is freeing ourselves from baggage and past wounds.
I read a provocating post this week, where a child asked his mom “If Christmas is Jesus’ birthday, why do we get all the gifts?
We can offer our gifts to Christ by worship, praise, fellowship, praying to Him. There are many ways we can offer gifts to our Savior.
Let us continue to offer our lives to Him as a family and spread the Christmas cheer everywhere we go. Let the light in us shine to the rest of the world and in your area of influence. Let go and Let God.
As we celebrate, please keep in mind others who may not feel optimistic about their current situation. Sometimes we are all the Christ some will ever know. Go out of your way and invite someone over. If you can’t afford to buy a gift, use your time to serve them. Call that friend and tell them how much they mean to you.
As you read this post, know that I have prayed for you and will continue to pray for you. I love you and wish the best for you, but Christ loves you the most.
Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours with Love
