As we approach the end of another month. Kindly pay attention to the clues life is giving you as you go about your journey.
It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life juggling the demands of our daily grind.
You will make some mistakes, and as you take inventory of the lessons learned along the way. It will help you to navigate better and forge ahead arriving at your destination in good time.
Life leaves clues. Success leaves tracks. Take notes and take action.
A true account of how I missed many clues
Faith had 2 weeks off for Christmas break and I was ready for her to resume school. I woke up excited and eager to get Faith to school on Monday 7th Jan. There I was driving to school, thinking to myself (Clue #1) how there were very few cars on the road. Hmm, (Clue#2) I thought what ever happen to all the school-run moms? Anyways we are going to be there on time, thank God for less traffic and I cant wait to have my me time!
I noticed there were (clue#3) no children along the way usually waiting for the school bus to pick them up!
As I approached the school car park there were very few cars (clue#4). How weird i thought to myself.
Still, I continued on my merry way and pulled up outside the school where there are usually older students helping to open the doors. Today, there were no helpers (clue#5). Hmm I thought to myself again. Oh well maybe they are just getting organized again after their 2 weeks break.
Suddenly, there it was in black and white a big sign SCHOOL IS CLOSED TODAY AND WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW!
A woman walked towards my car and informed me that they weren’t open until the next day. It took a few seconds for it to register and afterwards I drove off in embarrassment.
How did I get the date mixed up? And How come I didn’t pick on the clues as I drove down?
As I drove back home I kept thinking on all the clues I’d missed. I asked myself “how many more clues am I missing in my life”?
I was operating thru a tunnel vision and only saw what I wanted to see. Even though there were many clues along the way, I didn’t take the time to acknowledge them.
What about you? Are you so focused on your destination that you are missing out on important information, clues and signs that may help you make an informed decision?
Dont become too fixated on the destination while losing sight of the clues God is showing to you so that you can step into your audacious life.
Your seasons may have changed, that person you intended to marry may not be whom they are pretending to be. Your body may be throwing off symptoms to get your attention.
You may have outgrown your current circle of influence and God has been sending you signs but you are emotionally attached to those that are no longer invested in your dreams.
Wake up, be attentive and stop living in denial. Start paying attention to your surrounding, the clues are right in front of you.
5 Things you can do to help you see God’s clues

DN,
Thank you for taking the time to read it. I’m so glad it spoke to you today.
“You may have outgrown your current circle of influence and God has been sending you signs but you are emotionally attached to those that are no longer invested in your dreams”
WoW! – let me park up right here, Buky. My goodness, what a powerful and timely statement. You stopped me in my tracks here.
There were times in my life (not too many – thank God) when the Lord had clearly given me clues, but because I had been focusing on how I thought the Lord ‘should’ answer or had been focusing on Him answering in the same way He had previously done, I had missed His perfect timing/answer, when it was right there for me to see.
I give God all the glory, that as I have gone deeper in His Word, I am growing higher in Him and seeing things from His perspective and with more discernment.
It is not always easy, but I continually press in.
Thanks for this powerful post – May God bless you and your family more and more. I too like Bomi am delighted that you received something from your experience.
God use our life to counsels us, that really get my attention. Everything we’ve gone thru is for a purpose, both good and the not so good. I no longer see events in my life as negatives but as an opportunity for growth. God desires that we’ll be spiritually mature so that we can take our rightful place in His Kingdom. Ps 73:24 – You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.
I thank God that I can finally write a comment. I love this, God is always leaving clues, it is just most times,we pointedly ignore it. Thanks sis for reminding us
