I love celebrating each milestone in our lives. Sometimes, if I’m not careful I tend to postpone celebration until when it’s a major milestone.
I have been asking myself lately why delay celebrating life? Whose idea is this anyway? Why must we wait till we’re at a certain age before we drive that car or have that big bash we have been planing in our heads, or just plain living life to the fullest
I have turned over a new leaf and will no longer wait to celebrate important events and milestones in my life.
Once you discover what makes you happy. Do it daily. Don’t put your
happiness on the shelf. Life has an expiration date.
I am going to celebrate everyday since I don’t know how long I am going to be around for. The truth is none of us know if we are still going to be here tomorrow. So why do we keep on putting things off as if we have control over our lives?
When I turned 40 my husband bought me a car I have always wanted. Let me tell you, everyday when I drive my car nobody feels as cool as I do. Now bear in mind that is just a car! So imagine if we all start to pursue our dreams and goals – you get to celebrate your live by living your dreams.
I am aware that we can’t have everything as we want it. I know that sometimes we have to delay gratification. But we can celebrate the little things first, today!
In my head I have this plan on what I would like to do for our 10th anniversary. But I’ve decided against waiting 2 more years before I celebrate. I want to celebrate everyday God has given me to share with my amazing husband. Life is too short to postpone celebrating.
Start Today
Start celebrating your life today by starting small and gradually building up as you go. Dont make it complicated and difficult. Start where you are with what you have. It’s all about you and what makes you happy and bring you joy. Allow your creative juices to flow and improvise where necessary.
If you have a dream car in mind and can’t afford to buy it yet, have you ever considered having a test drive in it? Maybe you can rent it for the weekend? Who knows you might change your mind afterwards!
Start with gratitude, follow through with appreciation for who you are and where you are.
So my friends here is wishing you a life full of happiness and joy. Thank you for being part of my world and taking the time to read.

If he daily loads us with his benefits, we sure have something to celebrate daily. I make a decision today to celebrate each day of my life with my family.
