Singles Talk: Let The Real You Be Seen

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14, NIV)

I have played many roles in my life. I bet there is an Oscar award out there for me.

I tried to be who others think I should be, it never lasts. I have been who I’m not to make others happy, hoping it would lead to love. In my long distant past, I’ve been the bad girl, the good girl, and the life of the party girl.

Let The Real You Be Seen

Throughout those times I was trying to discover myself. I didn’t know who I was, and I thought being someone else would be better than a nobody.

Eventually, I got real with myself. Once I discovered who I am, the whole shebang starts to fall into place.

Stop trying to fit into people’s idea of who you are, or should be. Be yourself and own it. Nobody is perfect, so stop putting yourself down and wishing to be someone else.

No wonder we have so many broken relationships. Who do you plan to be in your next relationship? When will the real you show up?

The truth is, you may be unreasonable, difficult, high maintenance, fabulous, broken, lovely, perfectionist, sensitive, and a drama queen.

Whatever you are or trying to change about yourself. The right person for you will see past all of that, inasmuch you are authentic. Be honest about yourself, and some of your crazy ways may soon become endearing to him.

God doesn’t put two people who are the same together. He brings two people who are polar opposite together to become ONE. Opposites attract and we add value to our relationships when we are honest about who we really are!

You are amazing and there is no one like you in the universe. Let the real you be seen, and give love a chance.
