On Sunday at church I was seated behind a young couple. I noticed the man had a supportive walking aid on his right leg. But something about him struck me that he had a terminal diagnosis, I was overcome by a heavy burden to intercede for him. I prayed for him off and on throughout the service. As the service came to an end I wanted to give him a hug but I didn’t feel led to that. I gave him a name, Jeffrey and made up my mind to continue praying for him.
The Holy Spirit keeps reminding me to pray for Jeffrey and I thought to share this to encourage you all.
God has put you on someone’s mind to pray for you that you may never be aware of. You may be faceless and nameless to me but not to God. As you go about your life, God brings the right people across your path to intercede for your needs. If only you know the great extent God goes to love and protect you.
You are loved, dearly loved by the Master of the universe HIMSELF.
To everyone in our community and all the “Jefferys” out there, prayer is being offered on your behalf. God, the Father, the Hands that hold the universe is holding you. Amen.
