Dear God,
Watch over and keep all our children safe as they return back to school. May they find favor with their teachers and friends. They will be obedient, respectful and kind toward others. They are blessed with wisdom from above and they have the mind of Christ. They are set apart for your kingdom, they are for signs and wonders. May they not give in to peer pressure but by example lead others to Christ. They will shun evil and do good. I commit the entire school district, Principal, teachers, staffs, school board committees and anyone who will make decisions affecting them.
I lift up the new student children, make their transition smooth. Let this school year be their best year yet. As different personalities comes together may your peace rule in their hearts. Defend the voiceless, protect the introvert and gently calm the willful child. Lord, grant the teachers wisdom, understanding and love. Give them discerning spirit and loving-kindness to handle each child uniquely. Protect them from harm and evil, and may they complete the school year successfully in Jesus’ name. Amen!
As they leave the safety of our home may your presence go before them daily in Jesus’s name. Amen!
