Being Disliked and Misunderstood is Ok.

When you embrace God’s chosen path for you, expect to be disliked, misunderstood, judged, and sometimes rejected. It’s not personal. It’s life’s rite of passage – a process we would all experience. One day, you’ll look back in hindsight and gratitude.

When I gave my life to Christ, I really had no idea what I signed up for! For one, I didn’t expect to be disliked and misunderstood by my closest and dearest. Over time I’m learning to be ok with that because a servant is not greater than his master.

Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. John 15:20, ESV.

In life, everyone will not like or accept you. You are not meant to be liked and understood by everyone. Be OK with that.

When you embrace God’s chosen path for you, expect to be disliked, misunderstood, judged and sometimes rejected.
