As we approach the end of the year and one of the busiest season: Christmas. Don’t take on more than you can handle. Play to your strengths, not to your weaknesses. Everyone has a breaking point. No one is indestructible, take care of yourself.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13, NIV.
At this very moment, you have everything; you are alive and whole. What will be will be, but you can choose who you will be right now.
I can do all things through Christ, but I’m not called to do everything in the world.
So many places to be, things to do and juggle and so little time. Sometimes we don’t need to be everywhere, we just need to be at home. Sometimes doing nothing other than simply basking in God’s presence and spending time with our loved ones is what we are called to do.
This past Thanksgiving was the best so far! We did absolutely nothing, apart from hanging out together at home. We cooked together, we laughed and played together and we slept in later than normal. Hands down my favorite thing to do with my family.
If God has called you to do something, let Him lead you there.
Make time for God, yourself and your loved ones. You are not called to do everything. What God has called you to do, He will lead you to. You are not the one sending yourself, He will make a way for you.
