At every season in life, God will use the people you spend the most time with to teach you lessons. Be quick to learn and slow to judge.
Wise are those who restrain their talking; people with understanding are cool-headed. Proverbs: 17:27, CBE.
What people do, say and how they treat us gives us plenty of opportunities to judge them. Just trying to make it through a day without being the judge and jury is challenging.
In my ignorance, I have burned many bridges and highways by being too quick to judge and a very slow learner. Thanks be to God who never gave up on moi. I’m teachable: Still learning and growing. Always.
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. James: 1:19, ESV.
Everyone you come in contact with has been placed there by God to teach and mold you. Why else do you think they are in your life? Ahhhhhh! Get it?
What I know today: When we are quick to learn and slow to judge, we become wiser with fewer regrets in life.
Let’s be quick to learn and slow to judge.
