Today, I am thankful for the opportunity to see another day.God created 7 days so that you and I can always start afresh.
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
We are created to love God and people. The life that we live is not just for ourselves but also to glorify God
Yesterday I attended a burial service of a great man of God. Bro Virgil Mott lived a full life serving God and its people. He will be greatly missed but we know he’s in heaven rejoicing. He finished his journey strong; he ran his race to the end.
At his remembrance service I was challenged to live a life worth living, that which will glorify God and not to take my life for granted.
Life is too short and precious to be wasted on things that are not Kingdom focused
Each day is a gift from God; tomorrow is not guarantee just today. Regardless of what last week or even yesterday was, we get to make amend, and start afresh today.
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Ps 90:12)
I am thankful for the gift of life. Another day to love God, my family and others. Another day to make a difference, to speak life into a dying world.
God, I am thankful for many new beginnings you have given me. You are indeed a God of many chances.
