Has someone told you that your past disqualifies you from serving God and holding a spiritual office?
Apostle Paul is an example of someone who sinned against God yet he laid down his past at the feet of Christ, instead of wallowing in guilt and misery. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14
Today, we read all about the great work Apostle Paul did for the kingdom. Where are the naysayers? Nowhere! Be encouraged
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead “. (Phil 3:13 ESV)
God Anoints those He Appoints. God Doesn’t Call the Qualified…God Qualifies the Called!
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. (Rom 3:23 ESV)
Don’t be deceived; no one is perfect, blameless or without sin. Stop being hard on yourself. Jesus loves you just the way you are! He loves you too much to leave you where you are, He wants you to go further, come higher and closer to Him in your walk with Him.
You are not defined by your past and you are not who you used to be. Forgive yourself and move on
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Cor 5:17).
You’ve been bought with a price; the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ. God dearly loves you; He gave his only begotten Son just for you. Be mindful of His love today and always. Be blessed.
