So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10, NIV.
Are you facing challenges after challenges? Are you having a bad week or a bad season? You just can’t catch a break! You may be thinking surely God has forsaken and forgotten about you. Your situation seems to be getting worse, not better. I am right there with you. I’ve had some tough seasons, still ongoing if I must confess, but I’ve chosen to see myself ahead in the future where pastures are greener and my cup is running over.
God has not forgotten about you. He knows your address, and your name is inscribed on the palms of His hands. This is not the time to give up. Praise Him like He’s done it and keep on seeking the Lord.
It’s too easy to give up! Anyone can do that. We are not called to do the easy stuff. Life is not a bed of roses, some paths are paved with thorns. It’s not just you, we all have to walk our own road.
Most of us don’t get what we want because we quit praying and give up too easily. Don’t give up too soon. Don’t quit praying, your miracle is too near for you to quit now.
“Life knocks us all back, don’t give up, get back up! Every day is a brand new canvas, go back to the drawing board!”
Anyone can quit! Giving up is too easy. The path to greatness requires courage one day at a time. God knows your name and address – help is on the way! Your faithfulness will not go unrewarded. Don’t give up hope!
When discouragement rears its ugly head, introduce endurance. They are both parts of life’s process. Don’t give up on your dreams.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12, ESV.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Give me the discernment to know when an opportunity is of Your making and when it is not. You alone, Lord, can open doors that no man can shut. Help me to be still when I am desperate and tempted. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
