Summer Blessings.

Summer is here!

I’m thankful for lazy mornings, hugs and kisses, crepes with ice cream, peaches, and a house full of exuberant children.

Can you tell I love summer? Yes, I do! I love spending each day with my children — no early rise for summer camp here. Lazy mornings, crepes with ice cream are the order of the day.

Since I’m not brave enough to homeschool my kids, summertime is the closest time to pretend.

A Time For New Things.
It’s a time to learn new things, play and laugh a lot. We make new friends and visit with old friends. We kick out old habits that no longer serve us and replace with new ones.

A Time Of Grace.
A house full of children is not without its challenges. We are learning to communicate better, renegotiate our needs, and give an abundance of grace and space as needed.

A Time To Bond.
A downtime to make sweet memories, explore new hobbies, fascinating discoveries, reconnects, and bond as a family.

A Time To Grow.
A time to dwell richly in God’s word and draw closer to Him. To rest, dream and frame our world, and cast the vision for the rest of the year.

A Time For Gratitude.
A time of gratitude for each other, a community, health, plenty to eat, drink, and share with others. Focus on all that is good and count our blessings.

Our lives are not perfect. The truth is, no one is. We have reason to complain and gripe about the unfairness of life. And what good will it achieve? We pray about the darkness of life while still bearing light and blessings with all on the journey.

No season lasts forever. Love the season you’re in.

I hope your summer is off to a great start and may you make sweet memories and fascinating discoveries with your loved ones.
